From Montreal to Jerusalem, weaving spirituality into art

Leah Lasry, originally from Montreal, Canada, embarked on a transformative journey to Israel in 2010. With a background in Psychology and Social Work, she kindled her artistic flame through transformative art classes, constantly experimenting with different mediums and innovative ways to blend them together.
 

Since 2007, Leah, a dedicated mixed media artist, blends tradition with innovation, infusing her creations with stained glass, crushed glass, mirror, acrylics, and sometimes even fragments from the land of Israel. This distinctive approach adds layers of meaning, connecting her art to the very essence of her beloved homeland.

Her art, rooted in an unwavering love for Jerusalem and a desire to inspire through Judaism's rich tapestry, has reached milestones, including exhibitions and a feature in the Jewish Art Magazine.
 

Since 2011, Leah passionately guides others in weekly mosaic classes, empowering women in Jerusalem to unleash their wellsprings of creativity.
