About the Artist
Leah Lasry
Mixed Media Artist and Educator
From Montreal to Jerusalem, weaving spirituality into art
I'm Leah Lasry, a mixed-media artist based in Jerusalem. Originally from Montreal, Canada, I made aliyah in 2010, and my connection to Israel continues to inspire both my life and my art.
Working with stained glass, crushed glass, mirror, acrylics, and occasionally elements gathered from the land of Israel, I create contemporary Judaica and Israel-inspired artwork that reflects resilience, faith, and the enduring connection between the Jewish people and their homeland.
My work is deeply influenced by Jerusalem and the rich tapestry of Jewish history and tradition. Through each piece, I seek to create art that is not only visually striking but also meaningful—art that evokes memory, identity, and hope.
In addition to creating artwork for collectors around the world, I have been teaching art since 2011, helping women in Jerusalem discover the joy of creative expression.
Today, I continue to create from my Jerusalem studio, sharing the beauty, spirit, and stories of Israel through glass and mixed media.
Follow me on Facebook and Instagram for a behind-the-scenes look at my process and my creative world.
